Ideas can come to me at any time, though usually it’s when I’m in the middle of a tight deadline, or driving, or doing anything other than trying to think of ideas. The spark for a new idea might come from something I overhear from a friend or stranger - a line that feels like it’s begging to be a picture book, something I see while I’m out and about, or a memory from childhood.
